Aimee was born and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. While she has a deep love for her hometown, she always dreamed about living at the beach. Alex was born and raised in Greenville, North Carolina, and grew up taking family trips to the Wilmington area. He attended NC State University and graduated with a BS in Finance. While at NC State, he was very involved with Ducks Unlimited including two years served as the chapter president. After graduation he was determined to see more of the world, moving to St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
He spent the next few years working as a bartender and honing a woodworking passion as a boat builder. That experience steered him in to becoming a mate on multiple charter boats which led to furthering his education and getting his 100-ton Captain’s License. His plans to continue a career as charter boat captain were derailed on September 6th, 2017, when Hurricane Irma, the largest recorded hurricane in Atlantic history, passed directly over St. John devastating the Virgin Islands. Alex’s house was one of the many homes destroyed in the storm. During the massive cleanup and rebuilding of the island, Alex formed a demolition company that worked on over 70 properties, mitigating mold and water damage.
Alex left the islands to pursue another love of his, live music. He moved to Boulder, Colorado, where he worked at two live music venues and also a company that did set design for music festivals. He loved the music industry and the snowboarding but the pull to return to the coast of NC and set down roots was too strong. He wanted to be closer to family and friends and Wilmington was just the place to be. When not working, Alex loves being on the water, board sports, and spending time with his recently adopted German Shepherd, Mack. Surrounded and supported by the unbelievably qualified Keith Beatty Team, Alex looks forward to assisting customers and friends with any of their real estate needs.
Aly grew up in eastern North Carolina and spent most of her summers on the coast. Upon completion of high school, Aly left home to pursue a degree in elementary education from Appalachian State University. It was an easy decision for her to move closer to the east coast after graduation. She landed in the triangle area where she taught elementary school for a few years.
Aly decided to leave the education field and make the jump into real estate. Her first few years were focused on residential real estate sales. She later joined Kane Realty Corporation on their property management team where she specialized in multi-family housing.
Her husband, Wilson, was given an opportunity with his company to move to the Wilmington area to help them open up a new office. When that offer was made, Aly jumped at the opportunity to finally live on the coast.

Amy grew up in small eastern North Carolina farm town called Clayton. Her love of animals was innate, as she grew up around horses, cows, and ducks. In 1991 she graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in Hospitality Management. In 1998 she married John Zabriskie and worked in property management for years before having their son Zach. Amy stayed at home raising Zach until the last few years when real estate/property management started tugging on her heart again. She currently works as the executive assistant to Keith Beatty. Sandy Thorpe was born in Rocky Mount NC but relocated with his family to Wrightsville Beach at a young age. He attended local schools till high school where he went to Virginia Episcopal School in Lynchburg Va. After attending Ole Miss for college, Sandy moved to Florida to obtain his 100 ton Captains license which lead him to captaining boats and fishing tournaments from the Carolinas to the Bahamas. Even working for country music singer George Strait on his boat for a little while. After many years traveling the coast, he joined a yacht brokerage where he learned about helping clients with buying and selling big ticket items. After obtaining his real estate license, it was hard for him to turn down an opportunity to join the Keith Beatty team.
Born and Raised in Southern California, Sarah spent her days enjoying the sunshine and the palm trees. After completing High School at a Montessori Charter School, Sarah attended California State University of San Bernardino. It was there, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.
Being the daughter of a registered nurse, helping others has always been a top priority for Sarah, who grew up Volunteering in the hospital. Sarah also volunteered with multiple animal adoption agencies and organizations since 2005. It is a passion she truly enjoys.
Soon after completing her degree, she met Nick Becton while on a weekend trip to San Diego. Little did Sarah know that her soon to be husband was an NFL Offensive Lineman with the Chargers at the time of their meeting. For the next 6 years, Sarah would travel the country following her husband’s NFL career, before he retired. They moved back to his home town of Wilmington with their two children to enjoy the mild climate, southern hospitality, amenities including beaches, parks and historic Wilmington as well as it’s close proximity to Raleigh and Myrtle Beach for more entertainment and sporting events.

Originally from Raleigh, NC, I came to Wilmington for the summer in 1994 and never left! I entered the real estate industry soon after moving to Wilmington. Having spent time early in my career in New Home Sales, I eventually transitioned into Long Term Property Management, which ranged from the marine industry and boat slips to residential homes. A Pennsylvania native, Tracel’s first introduction to NC came when she selected Fort Bragg as her first duty station after graduating from West Point. She fell in love with the people, the history, and all the state had to offer. I was born and raised in High Point, NC, traveled the country as a flight attendant out of college where I lived in Washington, DC followed by Alexandria, VA, started a family in Cardiff By The Sea, CA and called that home for 12 years and then finally got smart and realized that there is no finer place to live than right here in Wrightsville Beach/Wilmington NC!
